D.Light is a platform operated and managed by the community, for the community.
D.Light provides services that operate through interactions between the website and smart contracts. Users of the D.Light service are aware of the dependence on all features of D.Light and Third-Party Protocols and the potential loss of deposited assets. Furthermore, users acknowledge that they bear all responsibility for any losses incurred during the use of D.Light and that there is no liability on the platform protocol developers and the operating organization.
Users agree to use the D.Light service after familiarizing themselves with the following risk warnings:
Smart Contract Failure: D.Light's smart contracts are provided as open-source and can be audited by anyone. Even after security audits, D.Light’s integrated asset smart contracts may not be 100% safe from hacking.
Risk of Fixed Asset (Stable Coin) Value: Due to the nature of smart contracts, significant resources are required to bring in external information. To address this issue, many DeFi protocols operate based on price determination policies using stablecoins. However, even stablecoins are not entirely free from risks, as their value is also determined and operated by multiple financial mechanisms. As seen in past incidents where stablecoins were decoupled, we would like to point out that even stable coins may deviate from their target fixed price or lose value.
